I went into business consulting because I want to help people and businesses succeed, specifically ​with business development, improvement, and growth. After more than 25 years in IT and business ​within a corporate setting and 10+ years in not-for-profit entities, I’ve become highly attuned to ​opportunities that companies of all sizes can experience.

Business owners build something because they have a passion for it but don’t always have the time ​to focus on that passion. Sometimes the business drives the owner instead of them being in the ​driver’s seat.

My passion is to support your passion and provide a roadmap to continued success.

What would make your business the best it could be while creating freedom for the life you want?

Teaching is the portal to elevate others to a higher level.

As a child and into adolescence, my life was as far from success as you could imagine. I struggled, but the ​constant battle of scarcity was not the path I wanted as an adult.

By age 11, I washed dishes at a pizza shop while also working a paper route. By 19, I was a student in community ​college while working at Sherwin-Williams and bartending after hours. It seemed like I was always working two or ​three jobs to beat the stigma of scarcity. I could create the life I wanted.

As I worked, I also embraced education, going to school during the evenings and weekends. I earned an ​Associate’s, then a Bachelor’s, and finally, an Executive MBA. I was bestowed the prestigious John Baker Award ​(Cleveland State University) for my effort, dedication, and performance.

Here’s the irony: I didn’t think I could even get into the Executive MBA program. When I got in, I didn’t feel like ​I belonged. It seemed like the stories I told myself years ago wanted to keep me there.

My strategic management professor, Dr. Susan Storrud-Barnes, saw something in me and asked me to achieve ​more. She taught me how to break my dominant logic. She encouraged me to listen more deeply to others and ​to embrace forward-thinking concepts. I remember her specific words to me,

“Why not you? Why can’t you be the next one to achieve everything you want?”

I am going to be brave and invest. But why not you? Through hard work, determination, sleeping in your office, ​arming yourself with information, and breaking the resistance— why not you, as well?

This experience also sparked my love for teaching others to be agents of change. Let’s face it: things don't stay ​the same; they are always changing and evolving. You can’t sit still in the same place forever. I have a knack for ​persuading others to be part of a change movement.

You don’t have to stay stuck in the same story of your business. The future may be unpredictable, hard, and ever-​changing, but you can embrace forward-thinking, too. I’m here to help you ignite your passion for your business.
